Join Our Team at LinuxWorld San Francisco

We're very excited that this year OpenVZ will have exhibit space in the dot-org pavillion of LinuxWorld in San Francisco, August 6-9. We will be showing and demoing OpenVZ server virtualization, answering questions and so on.

Here is the best news of all. We can have up to 7 people at our exhibit. While a few OpenVZ developers will come, it will definitely be less than 7. We do not want to stall OpenVZ development. :)

We would like the community to participate with us in the event. If you live in California (or can come to this LinuxWorld), are an OpenVZ user and would like to be a part of our team at the OpenVZ exhibit -- you are very welcome to join us! Please email me (kir@openvz.org) your details and we'll discuss arrangements.

I'd absolutely *LOVE* to attend... and be with you OpenVZ guys, I live in the Bozeman Montana area which is about 1,026 miles from San Francisco. :(

Being so far from both the East and the West coasts means I've yet to attend a LinuxWorld. Luckily there have been a few within reasonable driving ranges. There USED to be an annual conference in Denver (gone now) and recently I attended my first LinuxFest Northwest just north of Seattle. Both Denver and Seattle are about 10-12 hours worth of driving but they were worth it.

I actually have a brother-in-law who lives in the San Francisco area that I could visit / stay with... but the cost of a plane ticket is out of my budget for now... and it is too far to drive. :(

I wish people would video tape the events and post the videos.

I think the company can cover the cost of plane tickets for you if you want to go. Please email me ASAP so we can arrange this.

Info should be in your INBOX

Wow, a free plane ticket would be fantastic. I chatted with you briefly on IRC but have sent you two emails that I hope include all of the info you'll need. If not, please let me know.

I look forward to meeting you and your fellow OpenVZ developer and attending the OpenVZ booth.

Turns out that my brother-in-law only lives six blocks away from the Moscone Center so this should turn out really well if you can get the flight details worked out for me.

I greatly appreciate this opportunity!
